⚙️How Copy Trading Works
Olympus automatically mirrors the trades of any leader wallet you follow on Polymarket, executing the same positions from your own trading wallet — instantly and proportionally, according to your custom settings.
Once your bot is enabled, every time a followed wallet opens or closes a trade, Olympus performs the same action based on the rules and limits you define.
🧠 The Core Mechanism
When a trader you follow (a leader wallet) opens or closes a position on Polymarket:
Olympus detects their new position in real time.
Your wallet executes a mirrored trade, using your set ratio and filters.
The trade is logged and displayed on your Dashboard (Open Positions & Activity).
Risk checks ensure the trade meets all your defined parameters before execution.
🧩 Trade Settings and Ratios
These control how your wallet copies trades from each leader.
Trade Ratio (%)
Determines what fraction of the leader’s position size you mirror (e.g., 50% copies half their trade).
Max Trade Size (USD)
Caps the dollar amount per trade. Even if your ratio exceeds this, Olympus won’t spend above this limit.
Reverse Copy Mode (Counter-Trade)
Optional toggle that lets you take the opposite side of the leader’s trades — if they buy “Yes,” you buy “No.” Useful for contrarian strategies.
Minimum Trigger Amount (USD)
Only copies trades where the leader’s original order size is above this threshold.
Minimum Spend Amount (USD)
Skips trades where your calculated trade size (based on ratio) would be below this amount.
Skip Markets Expiring After (days)
Ignores markets that expire too far into the future. Leave blank for no limit.
Max Trades per Wallet (24h)
Limits how many trades you’ll copy from that wallet per day (0 = unlimited).

💡 Example: If a leader buys $400 YES, your ratio is 25%, and your max trade size is $80 — Olympus buys $80 YES for you (not $100).
📊 Risk & Market Filters
These filters define which markets your bot will trade in, preventing unwanted or illiquid positions.
Minimum / Maximum Odds (%)
Skip trades outside your preferred odds range. Example: only trade between 10% and 90%.
Minimum Liquidity (USD)
Ignore markets with less liquidity than this — avoids getting stuck in illiquid markets.
Minimum 24h Volume (USD)
Filters out inactive or low-volume markets.
Max Open Positions
Caps how many positions you can have open across all markets.
Max Trades per Market
Restricts how many trades can occur within a single market.
Max Total Position per Market (USD)
Limits your total exposure per market. Useful for controlling risk on trending topics.

🧮 Tip: Combine filters to refine your bot’s behaviour — e.g.,
Skip trades under $1000 liquidity
Trade only between 15–85% odds
Limit to 10 open positions max
🎯 Stop-Loss & Take-Profit
Automatically close positions once a gain or loss threshold is reached.
Stop-Loss (%)
Automatically sells if a position drops by this percentage. Leave blank to disable.
Take-Profit (%)
Sells when profit exceeds this percentage. Leave blank to disable.

These tools help lock in profits and minimize downside during volatile markets.
🪄 Execution Logic
Olympus uses a dedicated trade replication engine with real-time market monitoring.
Trades execute within seconds of the leader’s action.
If a trade doesn’t meet your filters or limits, it’s skipped safely.
All actions (successful or skipped) are logged in your Activity log in the Trades tab.
Failed trades (e.g., insufficient balance) trigger 3 automatic retries up to 90 seconds.
🔒 Safety & Transparency
Non-custodial: Your wallet always holds your funds.
Role-gated access: Only verified Olympus users can run bots.
Manual control: Pause or stop copying any wallet anytime from any mobile/desktop browser.
Full logs: Every mirrored trade, skip, or retry is recorded.
🦾 In Summary
Olympus gives you full control over what to copy, when to copy, and how much risk to take — automating everything else so you can trade smarter, not harder.
